What's inside
From your first plan to a scanned barcode to a Lock Screen glance, MacroLog keeps the whole day in one place, and it works fully offline.
Onboarding estimates your maintenance with Mifflin-St Jeor × activity level, then sets a cut, maintain or lean-bulk target with goal-aware protein.
A calorie ring and protein, carb and fat bars up top. Meals grouped into breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, plus a glass-of-water tracker.
Search Open Food Facts or point the camera at an EAN/UPC barcode. Favorites, recipes and manual entry cover the rest.
Photograph a meal and review the estimate before it's logged. It runs on-device with Apple Intelligence or a downloaded vision model; signed-in accounts can estimate in the cloud, and photos are never stored.
Daily weigh-ins with a trend chart, so you can see whether the bulk or the cut is actually working.
Opt in per type to import weight, steps and active calories, and optionally add today's activity to your calorie goal. MacroLog never writes Health data.
A flame kept alive by logging each day, with two automatic streak freezes per run, and a month calendar to review history and jump to past dates.
A “Today's meals” home-screen widget shows calories per meal with progress rings and quick add, mirrored on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

Beyond the big three
MacroLog tracks twelve micronutrients against sex-specific reference intakes, not one generic number for everyone.
Food data by Open Food Facts. Micronutrient targets use sex-specific reference intakes.
Your plan
Setup asks only what it needs, then shows the real calculation with your numbers: resting burn, maintenance, deficit or surplus, and protein. Calories and protein can be adjusted anytime.
Local-first
An on-device SQLite database is the source of truth. The app works fully offline and without an account; signing in only adds cross-device sync.
Start logging right away. Sign-in is offered later, once there's a log worth backing up.
Logging, history and targets all run from the local database on your device.
When signed in, changes push and pull across devices, and deletions propagate.
Apple Health access is read-only and opt-in per data type.
MacroLog is coming to the App Store for iPhone.
